Recently, accompanied by the relevant department heads of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Education of Cambodia, Dolang delegation visited the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) of Cambodia. Dr. YOK Sothy, president of NTTI, and representatives of the school warmly received us. The two sides held substantive consultations on the implementation of the five-year cooperation plan signed between Dolang and Cambodia, and conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as international cooperation in running schools and the cultivation of technical and skilled talents.
Mr Jiang Zuodong, Chairman of Dolang Group, pointed out that Cambodia is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading of Industry 4.0, and is in urgent need of high-quality technical talents. Dolang will introduce China's advanced industry enterprise standards, professional skill standards, education and teaching standard system and high-quality education and teaching resources to Cambodia, and promote the precise connection between NTTI professional settings and local pillar industries in combination with Cambodia's industrial planning, so as to deliver "craftsman-type" talents to Cambodia's key economic and industrial fields.
President YOK Sothy highly praised China's innovative achievements in the field of vocational education, and expressed his expectation to enhance NTTI's internationalization through cooperation with Dolang and provide Cambodian youth with better career development channels.
In the future, Dolang and NTTI will work together to explore cooperation models such as "Chinese + technical skills" and "international cooperative education", helping Cambodia to improve the technical skills education ecosystem, while providing localized talent support for Chinese companies to "go global", and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results between education and industry under the "Belt and Road" initiative.
