Details introduction

Equipment Overview

DLZL-AH01 Heat Transfer Lab Equipment studying the technology of heat exchange. The technical training equipment is built around the profile sheet metal workbench, which contains a control panel for installing components. The thermal trainer teaching equipment includes a service unit, which provides necessary facilities and measuring instruments to test four types of heat exchangers: steel radiators for heating, fan coil exchangers for heating and cooling, tube-in-tube (double-tube) exchangers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

Equipment Features

- Two centrifugal pump for hot water and cold water.

 - Heater for hot water.

 - Electronic thermostat.

 -Valves.

 -Flow meters.

 -Pressure gauges.

-Four types of heat exchangers: steel radiator type, fan-coil exchanger, tube-in-tube (double tube) exchanger and shell-and-tube exchanger

 - Instrument panel with system controls, ELCB and MCB as safety device from the over current and from the earth leakage

Training Projects

The trainer shall study:

 -Water/air radiator type for heating.

 -(Water/air + fan ) fan-coil exchanger for heating and cooling .

-Water/water double tube exchanger , reversed flow.

-Water / water shell and tube exchanger type .

-Measurement of the temperatures of the water and air at different points of the exchanger.

-Measurement of the temperatures of the water and air before and  after  the exchanger.

-Determination of the capacity of heat exchanged.

-Measuring the pressure drop of hot water before and after the exchanger.

-Measuring the pressure drop of cold water before and after the exchanger.

-Comparing types of heat exchangers.

-Measuring the flow of ratio of water and air and determining the best velocity of the water flow and air flow.
